Air rollers (air skates) are a modern and very safe tool for moving heavy loads and machinery. They use compressed air to create an air film between the floor and the air roller on which the load is being transported. By using air rollers for machine transport, the process is virtually friction-free and requires no significant force.
A standard transport kit consists of:
- support modules (air transport rollers) – typically 3-6 pieces,
- airflow control units,
- air hoses connecting the skates to the control unit,
- supply hoses.

Why use air transport rollers?
Using Air Skates during relocation allows for the hassle-free movement of heavy loads and machinery. The transport rollers are made of durable materials, ensuring their durability and reliability in all conditions. They allow the use of compressed air, typically available in industrial plants and warehouses.
The low height of the support plate allows the transport roller to be placed under the machine frame without the need for pre-lifting.
Thanks to the use of compressed air, the machine lifts smoothly and gently.
If the floor is in good condition, moving the machine using the air transport rollers is achieved with very little resistance. This allows for efficient, safe, and very precise positioning of the machine. This solution is ideal for connecting large machine parts.
Using air skates distributes the machine’s weight over a larger surface area compared to traditional transport on mechanical rollers. This protects the floor from abrasion or scratches that can occur with conventional transport methods.
The use of air rollers for transport reduces the risks to workers that can arise during conventional machine lifting. Moving the machine requires minimal force.
The 360° movement of our air rollers eliminates wheel jamming when changing direction under heavy loads. This allows for optimal use of warehouse space.
Limitations on the use of air rollers
The use of air rollers is limited by poor floor condition, cracks, large expansion joints, thresholds, etc. Floor leveling should also be considered. It’s generally assumed that the height difference should not exceed 2-3 mm over a length of 1000 mm. In such cases, the floor should be covered with appropriate material and the height differences should be compensated for.

- Sets with a load capacity of up to 29,000 kg – equipped with four load modules (transport rollers) and a control unit – two sets,
- Sets with load capacities of up to 11,000 kg – consisting of 6 transport rollers and a control module.
Depending on your needs and the type of work being performed, we also offer additional equipment. We have air lifts and a KEASER M46E mobile compressor with a capacity of 4.5 m³/min.
